In 2020, I was appointed to a volunteer position (for 3 years), with the Washington State Department of Enterprise Service (DES) Business Diversity Committee. DES awards and manages 1 BILLION dollars of contracts each year. BDAG's goal is to help DES level the playing field for small and minority-owned businesses in this process.
