ENGAGE MORE DIVERSE LEARNERS

I apply the marketing concepts of 'pull' versus 'push' to training design. Between cell phones, bi-lingual participants, and an increasing awareness of neurodiversity, traditional teaching styles simply don't work. Ask me about creative solutions to make your next presentation interactive, enjoyable, and effective.

"Lee came up with great ideas about how to engage different types of families and learners. She also had good pointers on editing and the use of photos. These changes will set me apart from other professionals in my field."

I took Lee's recommendations to make presentations more interactive. I was amazed at the results: it wakes people up, gets them to respond emotionally, and reinforces key points. Breaking the 'third wall" isn't just for theater!

Interactive Design Results #2

Challenge
It's always tough to make recurring business presentations lively.

Solution
Oranges were a key visual theme of the client's marketing collateral. I recommended she place a bowl of fresh oranges on the speaker table during seminars, as an eye-catching way to display business cards, and to invite participants to snack on the fruit during the presentation. Eating oranges is awkward and messy. This small trick introduced audience-initiated playfulness and appealed to their senses (visual, touch, smell and taste).
