Media plays a key role in community engagement. Lee supports independent and local journalism. Reporting in multicultural and alternative media plays an important role in communities, and its different from mainstream, corporate press. Check out the free exposure our clients and us have captured.

2018 Ladies-Only Night Out

Lee created a press release and fact sheet, for Arabian Knights - a women's only event in Edmonds, Washington. She also initiated contacts to city official, one of whom attended and welcomed the audience. 

Produced by Michaela Corning of Barak Beauty Collective  and Chema Jamel Oh, owner of Boutique Al Firdaws, the evening featured music, dance, a runway fashion show, grand bazaar, and Arabic food. It sold-out and was attended by 500 women. 

2017 Malikah Festival

Co-produced by Zena Consulting

I wrote grants and awarded grants to produce Malikah Festival, for Redmond's Arts & Culture Commission, in collaboration with  minority businesses, city agencies, and a nearby mosque.

Both events included a modest fashion show, dance, cultural discussions, and local vendors selling home and fashion items.
